Birmingham Schools' Guitar Ensemble
The Birmingham Schools' Guitar Ensemble (BSGE) rehearses at Bournville Secondary School, Hay Green Lane, Birmingham B30 1SH, on Thursdays, 6.00 – 8.00pm (in term times only). The age range is 13 to 18 and the minimum entry standard is Grade 6.
A wide range of repertoire is covered and includes larger works in classical style, as well as arrangements of popular standards and contemporary works. Several new works have been commissioned for the group recently, creating a varied and exciting repertoire. Each year the group have many opportunities to perform and take part in workshops.
